With the recent raises, raising the net minimum wage to 35,180 TL (1,027 $) and the gross to 40,436 TL is a significant development. Minister of Labor and Social Security Sadık Gardiyanoğlu stands out as a key player in determining the minimum wage. The Ministry has decided to increase the minimum wage following negotiations with labor unions and employer representatives. Throughout this process, a balanced approach has been attempted by taking into account the demands of both workers and employers.
